The seventh year celebration of the Cinco de Mayo here at The Village Commercial Center featuring more local contestants competing with professional and more experienced models.

The Village Commercial Center has adopted May 5, a Mexican National Holiday, as an opportunity for celebrating our roots, defending our customs and the richness of our culture. Due to the recent national elections, the celebration was moved on May 15, 2010. Part of the proceeds will be donated to fund the various community service projects of Rotaract Club of Cavite Economic Zone benefiting the underprivileged citizens of our community. Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cavite Export Processing Zone, this group deserves a big hand by devoting themselves in helping improve the lives of many.

The criteria for judging this competition will be: 40% body proportion, 30% face & 30% modeling. The following were the judges who selected the winners:

The General Manager & Owner of The Village Commercial Center and Past President of the Rotary Club of Cavite Export Processing Zone, Mr. Gabe Trias.
Ms. Carla Iddings – Former model of Jean Tamayo, joined Ms. Body Beautiful in 1982 and won Miss Talent, has joined more beauty pageants and has won several more.
Ms. Gretchen Tamayo – a communications graduate from UE Manila, Executive Marketing Director of UK Derm Phils, the original makers of Erase Placenta, Jiaoming Glutathione soap, Owner of RG Boutique & Gen. Mdse., Producer of Fashion Model Quest Phils., & the Marketing Mgr. of UK Resort & Leisure Park in San Simon, Pampanga.

Part of the competition will be Best in Fantasy Wear, Best in Lingerie/Underwear and Best in Bikini. A total of 16 candidates vied for the title 11 coming from Cavite and 5 from outside.
