The race track at GST was built in the year 2000, the year when GSTjr Bike Shop Manager Gabe Trias came back from US to manage the bicycle business and develop the property to a commercial center.

Local races were held in 2001 and 2002 where bike race enthusiast came from Manila to experience for the first time BMS Racing in the Philippines.

From then on, Gabe Trias got more seriously involved in officiating BMX Races using UCI's rules and regulations.
